Acoustic Duct Wrap & Pipe Wrap for Superior Noise Reduction and Thermal Insulation

Acoustic Duct Wrap is an advanced acoustic barrier featuring a fiberglass decoupler, specifically designed to block sound and reduce noise from HVAC ductwork and pipes. This composite material offers exceptional performance, combining a 1/8″ thick layer of foil-faced mass loaded vinyl (MLV) l (weighing one pound per square foot) with a one or two-inch-thick layer of scrim-faced quilted acoustic fiberglass.

Key Features of Sound Shield Acoustic Pipe Wrap

  • Noise Blocking: Effectively wraps around noisy pipes and ducts, preventing sound transmission through the walls of the pipe or duct as air or other contents move through.
  • Sound Absorption: Enhances sound absorption around the pipe or ductwork, reducing overall noise levels.
  • Thermal Insulation: Provides excellent thermal insulation, helping to minimize heat loss or gain.
  • Durable Exterior: Reinforced foil-faced exterior serves as a protective jacket suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, providing a reliable surface for tape adhesion.
  • Fire-Rated: Class 1 fire-rated material ensures safety and compliance with industry standards.
  • Easy Installation: Available in rolls (54″ wide x 30′ long), it is easy to cut, wrap, and install using matching lag tape.
